The summer season, entirely dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the first ascent of Zwölferkofel, opens with a viewing of the Alpen Film Festival and the opportunity to visit the exhibition that pays homage to Salewa through a collage of magazine extracts.
The Alpen Film Festival is a film tour for all those who are passionate about good films and love to hear mountain stories. The Alpen Film Festival has been on tour since June 2024. It will end in January 2025.
In the fourth Alpen Film Festival Tour (2024/2025), the focus will be on the joy associated with mountain sports. The author, director and curator of the festival, Tom Dauer, has chosen ‘Friendship’ as the leitmotif of the event. Five films between 15 and 35 minutes long bring the facets of enthusiasm for the mountains to the screen. All five films prove that well-made mountain films can transfer the passion of their protagonists to the audience.
The Alpen Film Festival 2024 in Sexten/Sesto will present four films with different facets. The event takes place on 28 June from 6.30 pm at the Haus der Berge.
No booking is necessary and admission is free. The evening will be held in German.
This will be followed by the opening of the Salewa ‘Planet 80s’ exhibition in the Haus der Berge. Here you can end the evening with an aperitif and 80s music with a DJ.
